TRANSFORMERS: REACTIVATE
SENIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER | TECNICAL DESIGNER
2021 - 2024
Online Action Game
PROJECT OVERVIEW
"The gravest threat to humanity has arrived. And it’s already won. Earth is no longer ours; it belongs to them. All we have left is our hope for the Autobots, as we salvage them from the rubble left behind"
Transformers: Reactivate was a 1-4 player online action game developed by Splash Damage, slated for release on PC and consoles.
In January 2025, the game was officially cancelled.
I worked on the combat of Transformers: Reactivate, being part of the Combat Team for three years and playing a key role as the dedicated AI Technical Designer working on the enemies. Despite the unfortunate outcome of the project and several challenges, I deeply enjoyed my time working on the game, gaining extensive knowledge of combat systems for AAA multiplayer action games and specializing in AI behaviors and enemy designs. Compared to the smaller scale of the projects I was used to at Milestone, I also had the pleasure of working with many talented individuals in larger multidisciplinary teams.
